Multiple warnings on dash
Mark77 replied to Tait1983's topic in Vauxhall Crossland & Grandland X Club
Yes you definitely need to register the new battery, I got my local garage to do this, then in takes a day or so to learn the ECU Try to buy same spec battery or you will have to charge pram file if option available for your new battery as well as telling car new battery fitted, Just buy same for same it’s less hassle. -

MK 1 Agila Front Springs
Vauxhall Owners Club replied to stevestuart52's topic in Vauxhall Viva, Adam & Agila Club
Might be worth trying an impact gun (pneumatic or battery) which will spin the nuts off -
oh crikey I can imagine that makes a huge difference to the car Andy?

if you take it to a dealer they should be able to identify it and provide a new one

Multiple warnings on dash

I'm in the garage again today with mine. I spoke to a few guys at work the other day and they said that if I've had a new battery fitted, which I have, that it might need recoding? I've not heard of this before but I'm clueless with cars but I'm going to mention it when I arrive. It's a Vauxhall specialist so will see what they come up with but not keen on the idea of replacing parts for nothing to actually change so want to make sure I know where I stand with that as they can take the new parts back if it doesn't fix the problem!! -

I have this code 68 come on every so often but I've noticed if I park in gear without handbrake (electric handbrake) the code doesn't come on the next time I start the car however when applying handbrake the starting the car code 68 I had the car scanned diagnostics and code U0121-00 is displayed not this is the handbrake failing to engage with the car and ideas where to start sort out handbrake module or power steering code 68

AndyR started following EGR and coolant. and Astra G engine mount.
-
Hi, I replaced my engine mount yesterday. I believe I've had my mileage out of it. It seems a little worn.
-
Hi everyone, I'm in the process of doing maintenance on the astra. I am going to do a coolant flush and refresh, and also sort out the egr system. Does the coolant work with the egr, as I've noticed that the heater pipes are connected to the pipework from egr. And would having a clogged coolant system cause the egr to misbehave? Thanks in advance Andy

Multiple warnings on dash
Stevie39393 replied to Tait1983's topic in Vauxhall Crossland & Grandland X Club
Hi, Hope this works for you. These lights been on for about 5 months for me now, it’s doesn’t matter whether it’s hot or cold, they are constantly on every time I start the car now, and have been for months. At the start it was more intermittent. At my wits end with it now, hope we can all find a solution. -
Multiple warnings on dash
Mark77 replied to Tait1983's topic in Vauxhall Crossland & Grandland X Club
Hi all, Hopefully this has been fixed, or at least on track to getting it fixed The multiple errors come on after any fault code logging as a Confirmed fault. After quite abit of fault finding found the front of radiator flaps switch to be broken, the car mainly faulting when it was cold so don’t know if totally out of the woods. Mind was emissions related, car was trying to do a regen but couldn’t get to the correct temperature to finish cycle, now done until probably the next regen or when cold all seems ok. Trying to source new fount flap unit as broken. Fitting the new battery also improves matters. Will keep you all posted. Cheers Mark -

Multiple warnings on dash
tgatim replied to Tait1983's topic in Vauxhall Crossland & Grandland X Club
Hi all. this is my first post. I have had similar problems. The car went in for brake disks change but the garage had difficulty getting the rear disk off. In the process they damaged the ABS sensor. I then got all the warning lights as mentioned above. A new ABS sensor didn't cure the problem but fitting a genuine Vauxhall one did clear most of the warning lights. The problem is I still have an engine warning light that wont reset. Error Code P1349. That's a MOT failure and It wont reset although the car seems to work perfectly. Any Ideas? -
