  3. Hi, I replaced my engine mount yesterday. I believe I've had my mileage out of it. It seems a little worn.
  4. Hi everyone, I'm in the process of doing maintenance on the astra. I am going to do a coolant flush and refresh, and also sort out the egr system. Does the coolant work with the egr, as I've noticed that the heater pipes are connected to the pipework from egr. And would having a clogged coolant system cause the egr to misbehave? Thanks in advance Andy

  8. Hello, can anyone please help me to find out this wheel lock nut key code. Thank you
  9. Hi, Hope this works for you. These lights been on for about 5 months for me now, it’s doesn’t matter whether it’s hot or cold, they are constantly on every time I start the car now, and have been for months. At the start it was more intermittent. At my wits end with it now, hope we can all find a solution.
  10. Hi all, Hopefully this has been fixed, or at least on track to getting it fixed The multiple errors come on after any fault code logging as a Confirmed fault. After quite abit of fault finding found the front of radiator flaps switch to be broken, the car mainly faulting when it was cold so don’t know if totally out of the woods. Mind was emissions related, car was trying to do a regen but couldn’t get to the correct temperature to finish cycle, now done until probably the next regen or when cold all seems ok. Trying to source new fount flap unit as broken. Fitting the new battery also improves matters. Will keep you all posted. Cheers Mark
  11. Hi, I have had this problem for six months now, as previously mentioned the ABS sensors have been changed, bearings etc. Up until now nothing has worked, with still no solution.
  12. It has happened again, once more on entering a roundabout. It would not restart in either Park and Neutral. So what happened last time must have been coincidental. I left it for 15 minutes and tried again. It started and ran normally for the rest of the journey.
  13. Hi all. this is my first post. I have had similar problems. The car went in for brake disks change but the garage had difficulty getting the rear disk off. In the process they damaged the ABS sensor. I then got all the warning lights as mentioned above. A new ABS sensor didn't cure the problem but fitting a genuine Vauxhall one did clear most of the warning lights. The problem is I still have an engine warning light that wont reset. Error Code P1349. That's a MOT failure and It wont reset although the car seems to work perfectly. Any Ideas?
  14. The cable appears to be on back order with Vauxhall at the moment. Does anyone know of an alternative ?
  15. It sounds like there may be some light bleeding through from another part of the dash area (such as illumination for the alarm status lamp, possibly)

  22. ok so the problem is intermitantly the drivers controls for the windows wont work and when it starts to work again it only operates the drivers window but only if you drive the car for about 10 mins. i have had a few zafiras so straight to check the wiring and clean the switch no issues withg the wiring even through the rubber gaiter at the door and the switch is lovely and clean i even tried another switch but still no change. i have had a look at the BCU behind the glovebox under the aircon unit but cant see any obvious water damage. does anyone have any suggestions
  23. Rear washer not working. Have filled water bottle and motor is working
  24. Hi everyone, I thought I would introduce myself to you all as I think I have some interesting history with Vauxhall. Back in the late 1950/Early 1960 my father worked at the Vauxhall plant in Luton, not really sure what he did, but probably on the production line somewhere. My earliest recollection of the car he drove was a Bedford CA Dormobile, I don't know that much about it other than the Reg number of NEW641 and the memories of places we visited with this vehicle, believe me we did some miles in it. The next car he owned probably around 1966 was a truly fantastic car, The Vauxhall Cresta PA Estate reg number UPM70, what a lovely car that was. Next was the PC Cresta saloon, another work of art, then he purchased ( brand new) probably with staff discount a Viva Van, not quite sure what model HA or HB in white, as a second vehicle in the household, I do remember that he tought both my Mother and my eldest sister to drive in it. So as you can imagine there is a bit of Vauxhall in my blood, currently I own a VX220, and a Mavano van that has been converted to a Campervan and there have been many other Vauxhall's in-between, as well as some interesting history with a vauxhall dealer where I worked for a few years. Just a short taster of many years with Vauxhall, if anyone is interested send me a message and I'll get back to you. Thanks for reading this, all the best

  27. Howdy! I am hoping someone will know what on earth is going on with my faithful 2013 Astra J 1.7CDTI SRI EcoFlex. It's starting to do something very weird after you try to restart the engine when it's hot. So for example in the video below id driven for 40 mins, stopped at a restaurant for about 30 mins and then tried to restart the car. If you leave your foot on the clutch the engine tries to start with a horrible clatter, then dies, then STARTS ITSELF! then dies, and repeats this process until eventually it starts. I have found flooring the throttle does seem to help make it start faster. There are no codes on my OBD2 scanner, and it does not happen every time, but is certainly worrying when it does. Does anyone have any idea? Youtube issue of issue
  28. Occasionally when trying to start the car, I turn the key and nothing happens, no relays click. I remove the key reinsert it and sometimes it starts sometimes it takes numerous attempts. This usually happens in the morning first attempt and then usually ok that day, but not always.
