Failed firmware upgrade

Hi Alison, I wanted to let you know that my radio arrived at the dealer on Monday, and they were able to “replace” it today. Oddly enough, it looks exactly like the same radio. The screen still has the same fingerprints from this morning. Honestly, I don’t believe they actually replaced it; when a screen is changed, you usually get a protective cover on it, which I didn't receive. In my opinion, they just disconnected and reconnected it. Since the third-party warranty is covering this, I didn’t feel it was worth questioning further. Maybe when you take your car, you could ask for the old unit back? Or make a tiny mark on one of the buttons… -

Aking35 started following 2019 Grandland X Intellilink Vauxhall logo loop
-
Hi, I have a 2019 Grandland X with intellilink 4.0 that is not working. I get the Vauxhall logo looping 5 or 6 times then goes to a blue software loading screen, again about 5 or 6 times then goes off completely. I haven't bricked it in any way to affect the start up script. I have tried updating it with the latest firmware from Vauxhall, but it does not work. I can see the USB flash drive is working by its light, but the system doesn't seem to be reading it after an initial second flashing. Any ideas what this could be before I spend a small fortune replacing it. Thank you

So have had a a20dth engine go bang (oil pump seal). I went and bought another 2.0 engine to get fitted however on fitting have realised it is a A20dt/lbr... now engine loom, ecu, body control module, clocks and immobiliser chip/transponder have also been changed.. and it won't turn over or fire.. the original engine had a 3 pin crank sensor and new one has 2 pin.. however I assumed with all the ecu kit been swapped it would register for the difference.. with the original ecu kit fitted the engine turns over but won't fire due to no signal from the crank sensor..... is there something else needed or have I totally messed up with the engine codes?

Can't think of anything that would do the job apart from running a cable from further up the vehicle to the rear? -
Will do. Just waiting for the bearing to turn up. And then the fun will begin. Done the engine coolant flush yesterday, so that's another box ticked. I'm getting there slowly.

Definitely sounds like turbo vairable vanes are gummed up with carbon Try cleaning the turbo with this stuff and see if that makes a difference Revive Turbo Cleaner Starter Kit Turbo Cleaner & Power Restorer 750ml (Diesel)

I have recently bought a Corsa Energy 2019 and have noticed a sporadic tinny vibration sound behind off side front wheel. I can't feel through the brake pedal or steering wheel and I know its not the brakes or the brake disks. The car only has 30,000 miles on the clock and is second-hand, for reference. Has anyone had a similar experience or could suggest what they think it might be?

This very rarely happens but it does!

2 ltr CDTI Bought the car last September. The gear box thumps when pulling away and after changing low gear and or reverse! 2014 on 52000 mikes! suggestions or is it a dealer job?

Someone suggested giving it a diesel flush treatment which I didn't have time to do, so I did a double shot of Millers Diesel treatment ahead of my monthly trip from Cornwall and Essex and back and since then I must say it has not happened again (and the car sure does drive better with no knocking or anything and lots more power) so perhaps was just a clogged injector? I did order a new Crankshaft sensor but I think ive got the wrong one as the spacing between the sensor and the bold looks different, and also despite best efforts I could not reach the dam thing anyway. -
Multiple warnings on dash

Mine is still faulting. Mine is not a hybrid therefore does not have the extra battery fitted. But yes I definitely think it’s electrical related -

this all sounds like power issues with battery, if you have grand land with additional luggage battery this controls all these functions, we had one with broken contact cable bringing up all these faults -
Vauxhall combo 1.3 cdti. Every so often the engine misses, loses power, won't accelerate. If I dip the clutch and rev it, it doesn't rev past 2000rpm. I pull over, switch it off, restart and we're away. Had new turbo, egr and diesel pump. No smoke or fuel smell. Thoughts?

Hiya, can anyone tell me where I can locate an ignition powered 12volt supply wire near to the rear of the vehicle as I need to upgrade my electric supply from a 6 wire to a 13wire connection to my caravan for the operation of the fridge and battery charger whilst travelling, many thanks Cliff
