  1. Hi, I replaced my engine mount yesterday. I believe I've had my mileage out of it. It seems a little worn.
  2. Hi everyone, I'm in the process of doing maintenance on the astra. I am going to do a coolant flush and refresh, and also sort out the egr system. Does the coolant work with the egr, as I've noticed that the heater pipes are connected to the pipework from egr. And would having a clogged coolant system cause the egr to misbehave? Thanks in advance Andy
  3. Hi there, there is a section on here that is solely for sales. Either vehicles or parts. If you stick some pictures and a price, there might be someone that may be interested.
  4. Hi there, have you had any diagnostics on your Agila. I wonder if maybe you need to get the EGR valve checked. My Astra throws up the EML when EGR is playing up.
  5. Welcome to the forum. Feel free to post pics of your car. If you need any advice on your Corsa, there is always someone who could help.
  6. Hi Mick, I did wonder about the hub on left front, as I have a feeling bearing is on its way out. Its the only wheel with a wire to it, as my car doesn't have abs fitted. I have had intermittent problems with the speedo since I first bought car, it would play catch up every so often. I will check with a multi meter, but I think it will be a new hub though. Thanks for your help.
  7. Hi all, here's a new one. My astra g auto was running fine coming home from getting fuel earlier. It stalled on me at a couple of junctions and started straight away. Then I noticed all my clocks were no longer working. Temp gauge sits there twitching. Any ideas as to cause and a fix would be highly appreciated.
  8. That's definitely a nice looking beast. Was being auto a personal choice? My 02 Astra I auto, and I love it.
  9. Welcome to the club, I bet you've noticed the difference in performance. Hope you enjoy your Astra.
  10. Welcome to the club. You don't see many Omega's about nowadays. Hope you have many happy miles driving her.
  11. Hi there HYMERPETE. Welcome to the forum, and its nice to have you on board. I see that you are quite local to me, you're one side of thetford, and I'm the other.
  12. I'm probably going to put a jinx on it, BUT!!!... The clock is behaving itself at last. Touch wood, its been holding the right time for nearly a month. And all i have done is reset it.
  13. Welcome back Dunny. Yes the site can nearly always help out with any questions that you might have about your Astra . Feel free to add some pictures when you get a chance, sounds like a nice motor. Regards Andy
  14. Welcome to the forum Barry. It is a nice example you have there. Hope you have many years of happy motoring and enjoyment.
  15. Pleased to meet you too Phil. Nice to hear that you've turned to home maintenance, it certainly can work out cheaper in the long run, and you get the satisfaction of knowing that you managed to tackle that awkward lock, or replacing those worn out brakes. I have always done my own work, it might sometimes take longer than a garage would. But it gets done at a steady pace.
