  1. That is a fine example you have there. You don't see many Omega's about, especially the estate models. Well done for having such a glorious beast.
  2. Hi all, I am starting to get miffed with my clock. It has been keeping perfect time, up until we had to reset clocks back an hour. Now I can set it right when I get in the car, but once its been turned off, it goes back to being an hour fast. Is there any way of getting it to stay correct, or have i got to wait until March 2025. Regards Andy.
  3. That's good news for you. Glad you got it sorted.
  4. Had the same problem with my Astra when I first got it. It too was the resistor on the heater motor . Replaced and all working ok.
  5. Hi Brian, that's a nice looking specimen you have there. I'm sure there must be someone on here that would like to take it on. With you having owned it for over 20 years, does that make it a one owner car? It also might be worth listing some of the work that is needed too. Regards Andy.
  6. Hi Martin, Welcome back to the fold. I hope the site is as great with help as it was before you left.
  7. An update on the update. The Zafira is now back doing what it was doing before I replaced bothO2 sensors. Revs are up and down. And when changing gear, it sounds like you're slipping the clutch because the revs are still high, and not dropping off like they're supposed to. Could this be the maf sensor, or even the throttle body playing up? Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance. AndyR.
  8. Hi there ThomasShore. Just done some google checking, and code 68 seems to relate to the power steering, as it is electric. People are also saying that a low charge in the battery can also bring up this code, Mainly due to the steering drawing a lot of power. Have you had the battery checked to see if its holding charge? Regards Andy.
  9. Hi there, A Viva HA, not many of those about. Stick some pictures up on here, and show us your car. As regarding fuel gauge, it may be worth seeing if you can remove the sender unit from the tank to see if it's sticking. If that seems ok, then maybe check wiring to the fuel gauge. Look forward to seeing pictures, and hope i have been helpful. Regards Andy.
  10. Hi George, welcome to the forum. Nice to see someone local to me joining us. Hope you enjoy your Insignia. Regards Andy.
  11. Hi there 1micky2. There is a fuse box in the engine bay beside the nearside headlight, and there is also one that is in the glovebox behind a panel on the left. Apparently both fuse boxes contain a fuse for the heater blower motor. If you have the cars handbook, it should show which fuse is the one you need to check. Hope this has been helpful. Regards Andy.
  12. Hi Darren, welcome aboard. A Nova, now that's not what you here much of. Feel free to post some pictures when you get it back from its M.O.T.
  13. Hi there Red Astra, I have just been online and found that you need to set it to 250Nm, or 185 ft.-lbs. I did my wifes Peugeot last year, and as my torque wrench didn't go high enough, I nipped it up as tight as the air gun would go, and then rolled down to my local tyre garage and got them to check for me. Luckily I was spot on. Hope this is helpful.
  14. Hi David, I just went back on my profile and found the member that was having problems with his convertible Astra, and I wasn't far out. His forum account is Westcliffe67. Might be worth a message to pick his grey matter.
  15. If my memory serves me well, I think it was a member called Westcliffe.
