  1. Hi....welcome to the Club It would be worth checking the vehicle battery condition along with the fob battery condition first and then investigate from there. Other checks could be on battery leads and terminal tightness and condition.
  2. Hi Mark.....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard!
  3. Fair enough, its a good compromise to be able to both drive it and best time of the year for a convertible. I normally drive a BMW Z3 which is such joy driving with the hood down. I noticed a bike in the garage in one of the photos.....what other bikes do you have? (have a Harley in my collection but always looking for something else as well)
  4. Any luck getting one or did you have to bite the bullet with getting from the dealers?
  5. Eurocarparts should be able to provide most parts for the Vectra
  6. Hi Barry.....welcome to the Club, The Omega is a superb car, had one years ago and always gave reliable service throughout my ownership. Looks in lovely condition and great colour as well Good to have you onboard!
  7. A few different ones here https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=vauxhall+insignia+tailgate+control+module&_sacat=0 New or used, not sure if they would need coding into the vehicle though
  8. Here is a universal fuel sender which may do the job and assuming the flange diameter is similar size Ebay link
  9. Oh Wow!!! that certainly needs replacing, just goes to show how much moisture there is in the tank
  10. Beaulieu are running a Simply Vauxhall event on Saturday 16th July 2022 More information in link below: https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-vauxhall/
  11. Hi Baz01634 ....welcome to the Club Great looking Insignia, the wheels really set of the body colour. Good to have you onboard!
  12. Hi Mark....welcome to the Club What a superb condition Tigra and looks great in that colour. Hopefully we will have enough sunshine this summer to enjoy the roof down on a regular basis Good to have you onboard!
  13. Hi JB 2.2 ....welcome to the Club The Signum is a superb car to drive....enjoy!
  14. What happened? did it shatter? A local scrapyard would be the best place to source another one I guess
  15. It may be that the display needs a firmware update.....speak to your dealer to see if they can update your satnav
  16. eBay would be the best and cheapest place to source an engine
  17. Thats an odd one! Looking at the videos it seems to be emanating from around the exhaust manifold area. I would run a coolant pressure check to determine if there is pressure loss with the heater on and then off. Also, a pressure test would show exactly where the leak is (even if it is in the cylinders it would show in the exhaust - white smoke)
  18. Can't say I have ever come across this before! It makes you wonder if something is good and works well (as you say it does) then why do they disappear of the market. Seems like a really good product, will go looking for one now
  19. Hi Marc....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard!
  20. I believe a whole exhaust system is cheap enough and would be worth fitting the whole system from the cat back
  21. Sounds more like a CV joint than a differential which would normally make a noise in both directions if worn bearings. Check that the wheel bearings are showing signs of wear on all wheels
  22. It is a case of undoing everything you find and working through it methodically but unfortunately, it is easy to break bolts which is par for the course Good luck with it all
  23. Great mileage Andy, make sure you get a photo of the momentous occasion Just goes to show how well built they were all those years ago and still going strong
  24. It is advisable to try to get the earth point as close to the vehicle battery earth as possible. Alternatively, a good clean chassis earth is acceptable but maybe consider running an insulated earth cable through to the battery and at least you can tap into it any point in the van to obtain a good reliable earth for items in the van that are high current consumers.
  25. As long as it has a rolling diameter that is the same as the wheels/tyres fitted to your car then it will work Check also the wheel nut PCD (fitment of wheels to the car e.g. distance between each hole for the wheel nut and the quantity e.g. four or five holes)
