  2. Sounds like the latch mechanism is broken. May have to remove the door panel from inside the car and release the latch manually. It can be done and if careful enough without damage (that can be seen)

  5. Its either going to be the air intake system (Air Mass Meter - which takes a reading of intake air temperature) but if its for the air conditioning then it may be underneath the rear of the front bumper area
  6. SOunds like a fusebox issue. Would be worth pulling the fusebox down and look for signs of overheating (burnt areas) and also corrosion
  7. Hi....welcome to the Club Usual issue is corrosion and you may have to remove a few trim covers to find the rusty areas Otherwise, apart from parts supplies they are quite a reliable old motor
  8. Hi Peter.....welcome to the club. That's a lot of capacity for dogs and I suppose the van sits at a reasonable height that most of the dogs can jump up into it without much effort. Good to have you onboard!
  9. I would assume that the warning lamp to say the bottle is empty is in fact a high temperature warning and if the fan is staying on then it could be a coolant temperature sensor fault or even a head gasket failure
  10. It may well be the bulb at fault as it will look for a resistance and could be corrosion causing it to read slightly high. Worth removing the bulbs to inspect them
  11. It may be a faulty brake light switch causing the issue

  13. I believe they are usually sold with the pedal. Can you dismantle and clean up the existing sensor, I have successfully done this on Renault / Nissan before?

Hi Sam....welcome to the Club We wouldn't be present at the show unfortunately, Covid didn't help with shows in general as not having the take up as pre-Covid attendance and will maybe take some time for confidence to build with the public turning up at shows (if they haven't already been cancelled for this year)
  16. Thats a strange one, could be it be the compressor not operating as efficiently as it should, albeit the clutch is operating and the gas is present but just not up to par?

  18. I would not try running it any more as if the coolant has entered the combustion chambers then it could lead to melting the pistons or even hydraulic lock
  19. You could try looking at the bottom of the radiator area possibly?
  20. looks like a fan speed resistor pack to me as has a heat shield for when it gets warm and also protects the resistors
  21. Probably best to shop around on the internet and maybe widen your search radius to get a better deal. Also, just because it is cheap doesn't mean it is good.....need to ensure it complies to all UK standards for towing and the electrics are correctly connected to the vehicle
  22. Hi....welcome to the Club I would start by carrying out a compression test on all the cylinders as it could be a sticking piston ring or similar which is not releasing until it has warmed up and expanded
  23. It sounds very much like a faulty ignition switch or relay and I would get this investigated as could be a potential electrical fire risk Let us know what you find the fault to be

  25. Sounds very much like the auxiliary drivebelt (what used to be known as a fan belt) These can run dry as can the belt tensioner bearings sometimes. If the belt is new then it is probably made in China and these tend to squeal constantly as not much runner content in the belts and need to overtighten to stop the noise but beware as this can damage the alternator bearings. You can prove this by trickling a small amount of water over the belt or tensioner and if the noise disappears then this is the reason
