Vibration on idle and revving
SOunds very much like an inbalance on the flywheel or clutch plate (which would be unsprung for DMF) or the input shaft bearing not being a snug fit in the end of the crankshaft possibly? Alternatively it could be an issue with the engine misfiring slightly and being accentuated through the solid flywheel?

(Help) Vauxhall Zafira 1.8 coolant problem
i would suspect the coolant pressure cap as being faulty. If it cannot hold the pressure beyond boiling point then the seal fails and releases pressure leading to coolant loss and overheating....simple and cheap fix, worth trying first

Car stops accelerating now will not start
Oh dear...that can be expensive. It's not like you drove through a deep puddle or anything that you could claim on your insurance as water damage?

Auto
I would certainly take it to a transmission specialist and determine whether it needs a fluid and filter change. If it is the bands wearing down then the fluid will be a dirty brown colour and smell of burnt toast, if it is still red and clean then it just may be low on the fluid level.

On start up
If there is a light tapping from cold and then disappears as soon as the oil reaches the top end then it is nothing too much to worry about. It may be worth replacing the engine oil for a quality oil of the correct specifications and grade to try to eliminate the rattle.

Car stops accelerating now will not start
Hi....welcome to the Forum I'm sure there must be some clues from the ECU fault code memory or live data which can be read to determine the cause. One area that may be worth checking if all power dropped off is the accelerator pedal sensor being at fault.

Engine Breather Problem
A cylinder leak down test would determine if there is any oil consumption via the cylinders, manifolds, breathers, rings, valves, etc. It's a very quick and simple test and if it comes back clear then you would at least eliminate these areas.

Engine Breather Problem
Wow! that is excessive. Cannot say I have ever seen a breather issue produce anything at this level. I would be looking at a cylinder fault and would be worth carrying out a cylinder leak down test which will determine the efficiency of the rings, valves, crankcase breather and manifolds.

Water leak in spare wheel compartment in corsa E
Hi Krissy.....welcome to the Forum It may possibly be coming through the rear light unit as there is a gasket between the light assembly and the body which hardens up over time and becomes less effective at holding out the water (especially if it is channeled from the tailgate down to the bumper). Worth removing the light units and applying some silicon if you find thats where its coming through. The easiest way to find where the water is getting in is to use a smoke generator in the car and see where it comes out of. A good independent garage should have one to use on the car and only takes a few minutes to carry out the task. Also, as routerspouter has mentioned, it could be something as simple as a rubber bung that it missing. Let us know how you get on with it

Insignia DPF Issues
I think if it was me i would take legal advice from the CAB or a solicitor to find out your consumer rights regarding the ownership of a car that is not fit for purpose. Seems unreasonable to have bought a car you cannot drive and that has been substantially modified with new components with no result at the end of it. Let us know how it all goes

phone probs
Vauxhall Owners Club replied to tommy trucker's topic in Vauxhall Audio / Video / Electronics / Security SystemsHi....welcome to the Forum Sounds like it could be the phone settings rather than the vehicle settings. Worth having a play with it when it is connected on a call to see what makes the difference.
