  1. Thanks Tom, just saw your reply. My problem fixed itself, then returned. It's definitely electrical rather than mechanical.
  2. My 2011 Insignia (Elite Cdti auto hatchback) has started doing it again. It did it before, then corrected itself, now it's back. It starts with a brake light bulb warning, followed by an indicators warning. The indicators stop working and the green arrow on the display flashes unusually quickly. The heater stops issuing heat and the central locking becomes inactive. No click or clonk or flashing indicator when either fob or internal buttons are pressed, That's it I think although there might be other things that don't work, that I haven't yet discovered. Has anyone ever had something similar. I guess it's going to require a diagnostic session. The fob won't lock or unlock the doors but it will turn the internal light on, fold and unfold the mirrors and open/close the windows.
  3. It's a while ago you posted this. I have the same with a 2011 Insignia. Only the driver's door will open but only with the key. Neither fob or the controls inside the car will open the doors, not even if there is a clonking sound. Sometimes it clonks, sometimes it clicks and either way the doors remain locked. Tried disconnecting the battery and resetting ECU & the first time, that worked, but not the second. It is intermittent. Sometimes it works perfectly. Sometimes starting the engine will get the inside controls clonking but the doors don't open. Many clonks later, they will. Did it remain fixed for you? Most problems return just after you are sure they are fixed.
