Hello. I’m not the most clued up person on cars. But I’ve recent purchased an insignia CDTI 2.0 SRI on a 59 plate. It’s done 134k and for the first week it ran really well. All of a sudden. Out of nowhere. It started bellowing out blue smoke. And it absolutely stinks. I recently did a long trip. And the particulate filter warning came on. Thing is when I’m driving along and the blue smoke is coming out. If I cut off the engine. And strike it back up. The blue smoke stops. For about 10-15mins. Then it comes back again. I know it’s not the filter regenerating. Because the smoke on my last car was white. Im not sure if the person who I bought it off has had me or this issue is purely coincidental. Can anyone advise me on what this issue could possibly be? And how much it could potentially cost? Thanks Steve

Where dis you get it. And all the plastic housing around it. i have few colour chipping spots on roof dents. What would be the best way to fix them. I want to wrap my car eventually. And if i wrap as is. After pealing wrap off i feel like its gonna take more paint off. what kinda aftermarket wheels you would put on exposed carbon red and black wrap?? where do i get led head lights and tail lights? And parts in general for 2010 insignia 2.0 hatchback

On the dashboard of my 2011 Vauxhall Insignia Elite Nav, message "Check Right Dipped Beam Lamp" is being displayed. I have correctly fitted each of two brand new bulbs to the relevant connection and the light still does not work each time, so it is reasonable to rule out that the cause of the reported fault is the bulb. The right low beam fuse is fuse 49, the left low beam fuse is fuse 50. I swapped fuses 49 and 50 around, but the left headlight continued to work and the right headlight continued to not work, so I think that rules out the fuse as the cause of the problem. Can anyone suggest any other potential causes of this problem and therefore also anything else I can do to try to resolve this problem. In lieu of any suggestion, at the moment I am hypothesising that the cause of this problem is a faulty ballast control module unit. One way to test this hypothesis is to replace the ballast control module unit. However, a replacement ballast control module unit is not cheap, so this would be an expensive way to test whether the ballast control module unit is faulty, especially if I find out that the the ballast control module unit is not faulty. Does anyone know of a way to check whether a ballast control module unit is faulty without replacing the unit and ideally without removing or even loosening the front bumper? I would be very grateful for any suggestion posted.
