Jack Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 I bought a 2012 plate Vauxhall Astra on the 1st of October 2017 and was told when I bought it I had a 12 month warranty standard on the car. I have just rung them up today and spoke to the ownership who are now saying they have never offered this and only offer a 30 day warranty. I was going to take out the extended warranty for life but was told I could do this when my warranty had run out. I am having a problem with ice on the inside of my windscreen, I wasn't sure this was covered under warranty but have now found out I don't have any warranty at all. Is there anything I can do about this as I believed my car was covered if any problems arose. Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I don't believe you have any come back as the warranty was there and the duration of cover should have been ironed out at the point of sale. Ice on the inside of the windscreen is only down to moisture build up on the inside of the car....maybe best to use your air con on recirculation to dry out the inside Quote
