Yvonne Tivvy Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Hi, I'm new to this (and forums in general) I have been the proud owner of a 1995 2.0 Auto Calibra since 2003, which my sister-in-law bought new, so it's been in the family since new. It has just passed it's MOT with flying colours (again), but the steering pump pipe has rusted up and won't hold the fluid. It's the one on the high pressure side to the cooling system, and it's really frustrating that I don't seem to be able to see it. I've got a pic but when I tried to attach it, it was too big. (I did say I'm new to this malarky!) Can anyone help? Do I need to post this in another section? Thank you! Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Hi Yvonne....welcome to the Forum I would drive it to a Hydraulic hose repair shop (you should find something listed in your local area) and ask them to quote for a replacement pipe or hose to be made up. It doesn't usually cost much and is a cheaper option than an original part, if you could manage to find one nowadays. Let us know how you get on with this Cheers, Trevor Quote
