Which drive shaft

Hello all, apologies that my 1st post is a question but I am no mechanic and urgently need to know if the drive shafts (n/s) are the same across the range.

My daughter's 2007 astra ,petrol, is desperate for a n/s drive shaft but she's on a very tight budget..being a now single mum

Hi...welcome to the Forum

Not all driveshafts will be the same (e.g.diesel will be different from petrol versions, etc) but if its just knocking when turning corners then you could just replace the outer CV (Constant Velocity) joint which will be the cheaper option.
