Tricky500 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Good morning all, I have had a Vivaro for the last 5 years but unfortunately it was on its wat to the big scrap heap in the sky. I purchased another later 2011 Vivaro 2900 CDTI which had a blown engine, but also had a replacement engine which had not been fitted. The original engine was M9R786 the spare engine that has now been fitted is a M9R740. The problem is that the injector system are different? When you turn engine over comes up with injector problem. Can I just have the injectors coded or will I need to change ECU, module & key or am l just waiting good money after bad? any help would be appreciated Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Hi...welcome to the Forum I would personally try to recode the injectors first but if unsuccessful then it would be a replacement ECU, etc. Keep us updated on any progress Quote
siggyv6cdti Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 As above id say your injectors need coding to your van Quote
