Guys just bought a van it went into limp mode so ive had a look vans been modded it has a egr delete on manifold and on end of egr valve is open engine management light comes on and of as it likes would the fact tge egr doesnt have a plate on end cause this where orignally a pipe comes out on right hand side as its not blocked on end of egr valve where its ovaled id imagine with trouble someones gone 2 witg this van it be mapped

Hi....welcome to the Forum

I would be tempted to reinstate the EGR and put a blanking plate (with a small hole for the gas to be sensed by the engine management) to extinguish the EML.
