Adding Reverse Camera on Combo xl

Hi I am new to this group. I have a combo xl 20plate. I want to add a reverse camera to the vehicle. I have a factory fitted Infotainment head unit, will i need to run a cable to the unit or will it automatically detect the camera if its wired to the reverse lights??

Hi .... welcome to the forum

It would certainly need a power supply from the reverse light bulb to make it live when reverse is selected but without seeing a circuit diagram to know whether this is enough to communicate with the display (e.g. bluetooth connection ?)
