Vauxhall Astra Elite 1.5 Electric Handbrake

Hi Folks

is it possible in the settings to make the handbrake come on if you take the keys out of the ignition. I had a Nissan Qashqui which did it automatically when you took the keys out. Brand new car so worried I may forget to put the handbrake on.

Hi Mike....welcome to the Forum

There should be a default for the brake to come on automatically when the power is cut and the vehicle is stationary.

It would worth visiting the dealership to ask them and if they need to make a default to the system.
