This looked like a helpful forum so took the plunge in registering.

* Currently have a metallic burning smell. Of someone want to point me in the right direction.

Hi.....welcome to the Forum

Burning smell?  is it a petrol or diesel?
If it is diesel then it may be the DPF regenerating which produces a burning smell when active.
