Hi all, last week I bought a 2009 Insignia 2.0 Turbo (petrol) for a daily runner and have been trying to solve some of the minor issues on the car. Unfortunately this model seems to be fairly uncommon so seems difficult to get much information on the car through Google. The other day the flexi joint broke and the exhaust is now blowing.

Having got underneath the car the design of the exhaust is different to many others I've seen online, and while there is the possibility of removing the exhaust and replacing the flexi joint itself, the differing dimensions and shape of the flanges seem inconsistent, so this might be an awkward fix.

Anyways, I'm considering replacing the entire front section if possible, although the problem is they don't seen to be available. I have attached an image of the exhaust system that looks closest to the one on our car, (this was found after much searching) however the part is not available. Anything else I find online is completely the wrong size, shape of pipe or doesn't have the first (smaller) silencer box after the joint.

I hope that explanation makes sense! Has anyone had any similar experiences with this model or could offer any recommendations?

Many thanks
