My Zafira A was involved in an accident. The damage appeared to be mainly superficial. I had to replace all the driver side panels.

I noticed that after the accident the front driverside, side light and rear light would blow quite often and need replacing. This carried on for a while and was mildly inconvenient. 

But now those two lights have stopped working completely. I have checked all the fuses. And I have checked the connections with a multi-meter. But both are showing zero volts.

Any suggestions on what might be the cause would me gratefully appreciated.

Sorry to hear about the accident, hope you are okay though.

It sounds like some wiring or a connection is damaged (say between the metal of the wing, etc) and you would need to carry out a visual inspection in the area of the damage.
Check also that the earth connections are intact as if there is no earth then you would get zero volts as the circuit is incomplete
