Hi everybody just to update you ihave been in touch with vauxhall/opel technical department regarding the common oil pump failure on these particular cars i have raised my concerns that they never issued a recall on these cars as the uk ireland and europe are littered with seized cars all with this problem i have been given a case number . i am a timeserved mechanic and sales manager i am retired and i still buy and sell cars  i have been the victim of this problem myself  car details Insignia 2009 2.0 cdti exclusive 160bhp 140 k full service history watch this  space thanks  Kieran mc Killion  i am based in co tyrone ireland contact no  07859883167
