Alan Tabor Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 I own a 1995 Vauxhall Astra Montana 1.4 centre point injection model. you have to crank the car for far to long to get it started and then it will not rev up. there is a flat spot and no power. i am trying to find someone near to where i live to repair the car. i have had the car in for repair but the firm could not trace the fault. no codes come up when the car is plugged in. cannot drive the car as not even enough power to pull away even when the car is on the level. can anyone recommend a repair place i can take it to for them to find the faults and with luck fix them. thanks to anyone who can help.... Vauxhall Owners Club Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Hi....welcome to the Club I would look for an air leak especially around the intake trunking area. Additionally, look at other serviceable items which may need replacing. In my distant memory there was an issue with the Single Point Injection system and a similar fault but seem to recall it was unregulated air but worth doing a google search on the injection system faults from that era Quote
