Hi to all. Bought my Crossland X a few months ago. Has the LED headlamps. However they are probably the worst headlamps for brightness I've ever experienced on any car I've owned over the past 50 years. Bog standard halogen units are brighter than the ones fitted to this car. Has any one else experienced the same? On a dark road their positively dangerous. And as they are a sealed unit, according to Drive Vauxhall in Redcar, there's nothing that can be done. So now I'm considering selling this car as it's way below other car headlamp brightness. For a car that's priced over £20000 new it's unacceptable. Thanks.

I wonder if it is an alignment issue with the lamps?

They should put out a great deal of light but if the sensors on the windscreen are not calibrated correctly then they could be 'dipping' or even adapting to some other situation which could show the lights in the incorrect position on the road.

I would ask for an ADAS calibration check by the dealers
