Cleaning out my garage i found an old "Flash Car Wash " thing. i know they are discontinued now but the filtered final wash did produce a decent finish and presumably the filter was a De ionisng filter. Im just wondering if anyone has tried to use a De ionisd filter in a home made system. you can get a filter on line for about £10, its not rocket science to hook up a hose pipe to it.
