Rear lights 2017 Design

I have an issue with my driver side rear brake and indicator light. They are permanently on and I have a dash board warning. Has anyone experienced this?

I would firstly check the correct type of bulbs are fitted as an incorrect one can 'backfeed' the lighting system

Check one side and compare with the other side as should have the same bulbs
