Just joined today. I’m the proud owner of two Astra vans a mk3 Astra gsi and an Astra j 1.3 diesel I did have a new Astra 1.2 turbo but was terrified of blowing it up every time I took it out lol so got rid. Prefer the older vauxhalls

Hi John, and welcome to the club. Astra's are great cars, and the vans seem to go on forever. Wife used to run around in a Astramax van in her previous job. Loved it, and wanted to buy it when she left, but they wouldn't sell it.

Definitely the old Vauxhalls are the most reliable and apart from rust have known them to go onto several hundred thousands of miles with very little issue
