Hello everyone.  I have owned a Vauxhall Carlton 2.0 Gli since 1987 and am hoping to keep the old girl running until she reaches classic car status and realise that I can hopefully learn a lot from shared experiences with others in the club.

Hi Peter, and welcome to the club. You have a great car by the sound of it. Well done for keeping a piece of Vauxhalls heritage going. Please post some pictures for all to see. There is a section on this forum for just Carltons, and I'm sure there will be someone who will be able to help with any questions you have.

Hi Peter.....welcome to the Club

Always good to try to keep as many classics on the road as possible.
The only thing I would say to be aware of on the Carltons is rust.....it creeps in and definitely worth Waxoyl it for the winter (even if storing it in a garage) and this should preserve it for many years
