1994 Corsa B handbrake light keep coming on whilst driving, initial thought was brake fluid but that is correct level.  My only thought now is front discs as pads are ok.

Does anyone have any other thoughts?

Also how do you read fault codes on Corsa B?

is the handbrake slack as in does the lever have lots of freeplay in it before it takes up on the cable?

sometimes if the cable is too slack the lever 'bounces' enough to put the light on

adjust the cable and this will cure it
