Ids75 Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 My driver's side headlight stopped working a few days ago. I've taken the bulb out and tried it on the passenger side and it works. My mechanic tested the unit and said the power appears to be going to the head light. So I presume it can't be the ballast? The headlight has condensation in it so obviously the seal's gone on it. I'm flabbergasted by the price of a new Xenon headlight (£1,100 I was quoted). Can't seem to find a second hand one anywhere local at the moment. Any ideas on what I can try would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it possible just to get some halogen headlight units and swap them? Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 It is hard to test the ballast resistor and very dangerous but this may be the fault. Maybe worth swapping them over from the opposite side to see if the fault lies there Quote
