Hello

I have a facelift 2013 Insignia (diesel) and have just noticed this sign on the dash.
It once went into limp mode when my oil was low (it didn't warn me)
I'm not sure what the warning means but I've checked the oil level and it's fine.
I'm afraid to use it in case it's something dire - please can anyone tell me what it means?

TIA
Stella

It didn't recognise the HEIC file from my iPhone.

Oh, dear!  Blonde moment! 🙂

My son is sitting in his London office, laughing his socks off!
Apparently, I must have touched the cruise control button accidentally (I never use it) because it seems that LIM stands for 'speed limit set' rather than the more drastic 'limp mode'.

So he told me to turn it off with the button on the steering wheel, which I have now done.

I didn't dare tell him that in order to photograph the fault, I accidentally dropped my phone and it disappeared down an iPhone-sized hole behind the steering wheel!  Luckily, I managed to poke it out again with my fingernail.
I think next week on shopping day, I might just catch a bus instead, I'm sure it would be a lot less fraught!  🙂

Oh dear StellaDMN .....don't worry we all have these moments (blonde or otherwise)

Its just good that its not a expensive fault and can simply be cured by switching off a button

Sometimes the bus is the best and least troublesome option, also means you can shop and have a drink as well 🙂
