Tacobelle7 Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 i bought a 2013 2.0 insignia ecoflex about 4 months ago and when i got it the guy had put in a new clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder and everything seemed fine, clutch felt amazing, but recently the clutch pedal has been sticking to the floor and does not come back up unless i pull it back up with my foot this only seems to happen once the car is hot and i am using the clutch in start stop traffic and it occasional happens when i put the car into reverse, also sometimes when the clutch is stuck to the floor the car still want to move . i took it to the garage the other day and they told me most likely it was the clutch master cylinder had gone so i got a new one fitted, but only 3 days after that the car starting doing the exact same thing from before where the clutch kept sticking to the floor, i have now been to numerous garages where some people are telling me that i need it bled again or that when they bled the clutch master cylinder they basically busted it up, i have now went back to the garage that fitted the clutch master cylinder and now there telling me it more than likely that is its the clutch valve that sits in between the slave cylinder and the clutch master, but i cant seem to find anything online about the clutch valve or if its even a common thing to go on insignia. i just need some advice before i go spending loads more on the car on pointless things Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 I would look under the dash at the pedals and see if the pedal return spring it securely located and not broken or becoming dislodged Quote
