Kato24 Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 My 65 plate mokka turbo automatic will not start. The immobiliser warning light is on and the car will not turn over. Neither key will work. How can I rectify this please Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Is the vehicle battery in good order (e.g. fully charged)? How bright are the headlamps when the ignition is on? Foot firmly on the brake pedal when trying to switch the engine on? Lock the car and unlock and try again Quote
Kato24 Posted May 12, 2023 Author Posted May 12, 2023 Thank you. Yes the battery is fully charged and I have had my foot on the brake pedal when attempting to start the vehicle. I have also locked/unlocked it on numerous occasions but to no avail 1 Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Not sure then, first thoughts are the clutch or brake pedal are not pushed down hard enough as this has caught me out before Quote
Kato24 Posted May 24, 2023 Author Posted May 24, 2023 Thanks. Tried again to no avail. It’s booked in for Vauxhall to look at it now Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 Let us know how you get on and what the fault is Quote
Kato24 Posted June 9, 2023 Author Posted June 9, 2023 It was a broken wire in the antenna contained within the steering column which was stopping the signal to the immobiliser. All sorted now Quote
