Radio issue

Hi everyone 

I have a mokka 2015 1.6cdti and have an issue with my radio it plays but i cant change any station the instrument panel does not work at all or by using steering wheel anyone else had a similar issue halfords said its not a fuse maybe motherboard ?

It does sounds more like an internal fault
Maybe worth swapping out for an aftermarket audio system
Halfords stock a good range and also the fascia plates and connector leads needed to install it
