Meriva cut out while driving

My 2010 Meriva cut out while driving, won't turn over, just clicks. AA mechanic wasn't sure what the problem is but check the obvs. Said its maybe electric??

Start with the battery and work your way through the system
Sounds much like this is the issue.
If you can jump start it then drive to Halfords and they can test it and replace if necessary

The AA tried to jump start it with no luck, did say they think it's electrical though
