Mark77 Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I have a 1.5 d blue Grandland and already had the battery replaced it worked ok for a couple of days then failed in the same way. Not convinced have been supplied with the right battery tho. What’s the battery spec you guys have fitted ? Think battery is on the right track tho. Quote

Someone (on here) recommended battery change as a possibility. We asked the bloke at Whitstable Halfords to check it for us. He used some gadget called a GS-Yuasa, set the stated amps of the resident battery (720mh) and asked it for the batteries condition....6%. Paid the (could not believe it) price of over £200 for NEW 800mh battery (fitted) and wayhay!! no beeps, no lights, no earache from certain others that use the car! Basically, it worked for us. Good luck. Hi, can you confirm if this has now sorted out this problem? Thanks In Advance. Quote
parky_87 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Vauxhall Combo Life and mine just lit up like a Christmas tree while driving home from Brighton to Manchester. ABS, Hill Start, Tyre Pressure etc etc. Went to the garage today who said the tests are showing faulty ABS and that it's £800-£900. Sounds like that isn't even going to fix it from the posts on here and that's just going to be a constantly thing?! Has anyone been to a Vauxhall garage to see if they know a solution as I can see the local garage just replacing the whole thing bit by bit if I'm not careful Quote
Stevie39393 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Hi, At wits end with this now, don’t know how to resolve this problem.0 Quote
whitstabledave Posted yesterday at 01:37 PM Posted yesterday at 01:37 PM (edited) Hi, I reported that this had been fixed with a new battery. SORRY. A premature exclamation! This morning, after just THREE weeks of no warnings/lights, and ten miles into a very cold day, up they all came again. Frustrated but ever hopeful.... Just for those that need to know, Perrys Sittingbourne said they hadn't heard of the issue. As I'm in the car park I meet a guy with the same car, he's here having them have their third look at it. I thought the days of blatant lying by dealers had long past. Oh well. And so the hunt for a solution goes on. (Apologies for posting it was a fix!) Stevie39393 Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM Hi, Sorry to hear this had not solved the problem. Seems a common issue with no hope yet of a solution. Quote
Mark77 Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM Mine seems to fault more when it’s cold. Only one fault showing in DTC. This turns on the Christmas lights. Quote
