There are multiple warning light coming on the dash, all tyre pressures low, abs and traction control warning lights and a message stating clutch overheating, reduce clutch usage. The car is running perfectly fine, just been through its first MOT, and had a health check from Evan Halshaw. It's a 70 plate and has covered only 13k miles roughly. The lights go off after leaving the car sitting for a day or so, but I cannot understand what's causing this as the car hasn't covered many miles either, so would be surprised if the clutch is the issue. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this, or have experienced it themselves? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John

I would start by having the battery checked and replaced if necessary
A lot of the faults you mentioned can be down to a depleted battery (even if it is not that old) as they sulphate if not used for some time.
You could also use a battery conditioner to keep the battery in good order when its not being used for a period of time

I have exactly the same problem.   abs, hill start, tyre pressure etc all warning lights and disabled and now a clutch release  message. Did you manage to resolve the problem?

We also have the same problem which started Tuesday this week when it was very hot. Strangely, we had the exact same thing happen last year on pretty much the same date (!) and also a very hot day. Last year we immediately booked it in at the local dealership but the warning lights all went out before the appointment came around and it was fine for 12 months. Hoping the same happens this time, but find it very odd.

Just had the car into the local garage. They found a faulty ABS sensor which had triggered all the other warning lights. It's sorted now 🙂

I  have recently had  4 warning including tyre pressure on my X on a 70 plate for about 4 days.I thought it could be the heat because I park outside. Then it cleared.Went to have a tyre replaced and they found a big nail right on the edge of perfectly good rear tyre.Could that have triggered the sensors.Who knows but I hope it helps.

Has anyone managed to find a fix for this?

When warning lights came on we took it to a garage, however on way there lights went off, mechanic plugged in fault finder, no faults showed up either present or previous. Unfortunately lights have came back on again.

Release clutch, hill start assist fault, tyre pressure not monitored, abs fault amongst others

Ive got the same problem too, lots of different fault messages. Took it into garage Tuesday, no fault found, drove the car Friday same happened again, with an added message about the clutch overheating and the fan running. They have.now said it maybe something to do with a wheel sensor, a part is now on order. Not holding my breath!

I have a Crossland X. In July 2024, just 2 months outside the warranty the dash board lit up like a Christmas tree and there was a whirring sound in engine like it was trying to cool something down, akin to an airplane engine. Took back to the dealer and was told after only 32,000 miles I required a brand new ECU! At enormous expense I fixed this. We are talking £2K . 6 months on same issue again. Exact same lights and whirring. Only now I'm told ABS sensor needs replacing! No explanation for whirring sound and why every light is on and message about releasing clutch. hey another £300 to fix sensor! Who knows what else is wrong to make the whirring noise. Overheating clutch??? Answers on a post card please. Can it be overheating when you start the vehicle!!? My advice to anyone reading this is DO NOT buy a Crossland X as you will live to severely regret that decision! MY FIRST AND LAST VAUXHALL full stop. 😡

What is Vauxhall doing about this problem.i have had my car in on April 2024 paid £300 to get fixed and it has happened again. Is there going to be a Vauxhall recall I wonder.

Got the problem fixed again. It was a faulty ABS sensor. Garage says the sensors are in the wrong place as they pick up every but if dirt and dust and this is what causes all the other warning lights to come on. Why all the warning lights come on is a manufacturing problem that `Vauxhall needs to correct. Bang goes hundreds of pounds out of my bank account to rectify this problem.
