My Vauxhall insignia dashboard is dead. The radio works,

My Vauxhall insignia has been left while I’ve been away for a long time. When I came back I found that the immobiliser was not working. The dashboard does not does not light up but the radio works. I checked and found a failed relay replaced it but it’s made no difference. Any idea guys and girls would really appreciate it

You could try a battery reset, disconnect and leave for 15 minutes then reconnect and see if that reboots the electrical system
Also may be worth seeing why the relay failed (e.g. water ingress) and see if there are any others that may have suffered

Much appreciated. I’ve been told by somebody who just had their insignia battery replaced. That  it had to be registered on the system which I imagine is a diagnostic Vauxhall only thing. Thanks
