Dave B. Posted November 21, 2023 Posted November 21, 2023 Hello I have just recently bought a 21 plate Crossland & the my Vauxhall app told me there was an firmware update available for my infotainment system. I completely followed all instructions to download the update on my computer & loaded up onto a USB stick a proceeded to load it on to my system, but 2/3 of the way through it came up with an error & the system has not worked since. Does anyone know how I can get my system back as I’ve lost everything & the dealership doesn’t have a clue what’s going on after I took it to them. thanks Quote
Claire C Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Hi Dave, Hope this has been fixed by now, but in case anyone else runs into this, I had the same problem with my Corsa and I resolved it by using a new USB stick, only downloading the touch screen update (not the maps), and driving while the update was running, which took about 15 mins. Good luck! Quote
Eamonn Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Bought a 2021 Grandland X in August, Vauxhall app said the car needed an update, bought a new USB stick, did the update which appears to have crashed the system, screen has this message " Software loading on demand..... WARNING: System has limited functionality" Have contacted Vauxhall Customer Care who couldn't be more unhelpful! They want me to use the local Vauxhall dealers to run a diagnostic test - £150 which I have to pay, even though it was their update that caused the crash in the first place. Cost of new system £2428.06. Would just like to reboot and never update again, any ideas please. Quote
