Hello, had an issue with rear offside brake caliper excessively wearing and making a squealing noise. Changed disc and pads, cleaned the caliper slide pins, regreased and changed the caliper as it wouldn't wind back even though it was removed from car. Now, the rear brakes are binding and getting hot. I have googled and seen suggestions to clean the slide pins. I did this. Then saw there are revised pads, but can't find any information on this. Last night I tried to come home from work but this caliper was holding on and I struggled to move. Took some on and off with EPB and then it freed up, but whistled all the way home. It is a mk1 1.8VT 60 plate. Any idea's?
