Clutch issue

Hi chaps, 

I have an issue where I found myself having to push the clutch down further and further until I could no longer operate the clutch. Then I topped up the fluid and pumped the clutch until it engaged again. However on the way home the same problem occurred. Any ideas where the fluid is going or how to troubleshoot?

It could be that the fluid is leaking internally between the seals in the master cylinder which does not show as leaking any fluid and if the level does not drop.
That would be a good place to start if you are needing to replace components
