Need recommendation for an OBD reader for our '98 Astra.

Hi there. I am not sure if there is any difference from the UK to Portugal, but most cars here are OBD 2 compliant since 1996. So your Astra should be ok. 

I bought a basic OBD 2 reader from a local car shop, and it came with a booklet with what the codes mean.
