90Ninety Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) Hi Just picked up a cheap agila 1.2 2002 project car for a few hundred quid, to sell onto a family member It had an abs light up on dash, according to ODB tool it's a solenoid valve malfunction (see attached). I belled out the fuses under dash and within engine bay, they seem fine (not sure about the relays though :s) . So this far I am guessing the ABS module has failed. I had ordered a replacement used ABS pump , since they are cheap I'm gonna have a go at fitting it, plenty of room around module . Though Before I start the swap , just wondered if I was on the right track ? thanks Edited March 6 by 90Ninety Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted March 19 Posted March 19 If you have the parts to fit then go for it and also gives you a chance to totally flush through the old brake fluid and fill with fresh.....this is usually the problem as the valves stick as corroded with moisture in the fluid and contamination of the metal valve and body 1 Quote
