Exiled Royal Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 Hi. I've just got a Crossland Ultimate (24 plate) and am wanting to connect the Navi to use Android Auto. My phone has Android Auto on it, and I've connected the phone to the car via Bluetooth (no problem). However, when I connect the phone to the car's USB (which I have to do to use Android Auto), although the phone receives power, the Android Auto setup doesn't kick in. I'm simply left at a screen which says to connect the USB cable. Has anybody else had this issue, and if so, have you been able to sort it out? Thanks for looking.
John McMahon Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 Yes, I have had that issue. It's the USB cable that's the issue. It needs to be high speed, comparable to the original charge cable.
Exiled Royal Posted March 31, 2024 Author Posted March 31, 2024 Thanks John. I've just sorted the cable out and it's all good now.
reddyredmond72 Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 I've tried several cables since the connection suddenly dropped 3 days ago and nothing works, could the actual socket be damaged and how would I access it to check/change it? 2019 model. TIA Ian Red
Paul b Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I have the same problem. It worked perfectly yesterday. Today with the same phone and the same cable it only charges my phone but no Android Auto connection
