ksingh007 Posted June 20 Share Posted June 20 Hello, I have a Zafira C (a Tourer). I find the clutch pedal 'heavy'. I don't know if it is just my specific car, or if anyone else has had this problem. Let me explain further: I had a Zafira B and didn't have this problem. With the Zafira C, the clutch pedal needs to be fully depressed before the ignition will turn on - I mean FULLY - not just to the clutch biting point. I think an elderly person would find it difficult, since the pedal is also heavier / more resistant than on any other car I have driven. Is there a way to 'lighten' the clutch / make it easier to fully press? e.g. lubrication Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted June 26 Share Posted June 26 It may be the clutch components (cover/pressure plate) that is heavy. Additionally, there may be corrosion build up on the splines which may it a bit heavier on the clutch depression but that would normally result in clutch dragging (slight delay when pulling away) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
