bangash Posted July 5 Share Posted July 5 (edited) 67 zafira 1.6 diesel. battery died as the car wasnt used for 6 month. Jump started the car and power steering malfuntion(dead). Took it to 2 vauxhall specialist after £300 diagnostics both said change steering rack for £1600, luckily one of the garage found a refurbished one and ordered it. Now the car says ESC OFF and doesnt start no crank no noise of relays and obd says no communication. Garage cant put new steering rack in till it starts( calibration needed for electric steering rack) £300 quoted for further diagnostics of why it wont start. help Edited July 5 by bangash Title Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted July 16 Share Posted July 16 Your faults are predominantly as a result of the battery. Have a new one fitted and more than likely the faults will disappear.
