There was like a pinging noise when it stoppped tried jump starting it , still won't start EGR valve was gunked up , so were pipes, cleaned all those out The RPM's go up when i have an ODB2 scanner plugged into it The fuel pressure changes on the scanner when trying to start car, the EGR valve values change on scanner I did have some error codes below if that helps ? It has the B20DTH 170 bhp engine, was last serviced in march, new oil, oil filter, fuel filter , air filter was running ok , with slight knocking noise on tick over, but no error codes before it cut out P0113 Iintake air temperature sensor (confirmed) P0403 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) circuit malfunction (pending) Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Control circuit open P0406 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve position sensor A - high input (pending) I charged battery over night, cleared codes and they did not come back Its trying to start, but eventually flattens battery after trying for a while any help at all, or advice would be appreciated jonathan Quote
FRONTERATECH Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) disconnect the maf and see if it starts P0113 refers to the MAF as sensor in it. The next thing would be leak off pipes and diesel check no leaks. Take cover off the engine look for wet leak off pipes or signs of diesel Edited July 30 by FRONTERATECH Quote

FRONTERATECH Posted August 5 Posted August 5 worth checking diesel pump are you sure no airlock in fuel system take off the filler cap make sure no sign of vac lock hissing when removing after that with all diesels it is down to pipes as no fault codes could be blocked filter or bad diesel Quote
