keith ticer Posted September 10 Posted September 10 hi everybody, this sundays meeting was a local club the stratford and henly in arden meet. the rain was attrocious, really hammering down which really put the moccas on everything. mind you, i never used the wipers before, not sure if they worked but they were really good. being driven off the camshaft the faster i went the faster the wipers went, unlike the early ford vacuum set up!! also it was a real good test for the roof and not a drop leaked in but the misting up was a problem solved by having the quarter lights open, remember them!!! 1 Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted September 18 Posted September 18 another array of fine machines, especially love the pick up trucks! I remember having a Ford Popular, same as the Anglia in the last photo which had vacuum wipers and if you accelerated or went up a hill they virtually stopped but down the other side they then went so fast the blades almost fell off Quote
