Emanuel Costa Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Zafira A 2003 2.0 DTI has new engine with new fuel injector pump, but the mecanics put the old injection pump module on the new one. I reseted the ECU using OP-com, replaced the fuel filter, and tried my best to bleed the fuel system by the fuel line end nuts, basicly cranked the engine until fuel was coming out the lines and then just tighen the bolts. Before i did all that the car would start but i didnt have power, if i tried to move the car i would just die, also was smoking alot, and it smelled heavy diesel. After doing all that at the begning of the thread the car doesnt start, it doesent have any codes that would'nt let the car start, after reading more about the symptoms i found that maybe the injector seal rings might be bad, but because it seems like a heavy job i want to ask what do you guys think about it, if you could give me any advice it would be great!!! Also when i turn the ignition on, the speed and rpm in the cluster flickers like a cold chiuaua, and then when i try to crank the imobilezer light goes off so i know i dont have problems with that, also sometimes it sound like its getting some explosion but then nothing just keeps cranking. Vauxhall Owners Club Posted November 27 Posted November 27 First thing I would do is to check the battery is totally up to par for the cranking and have you tried easystart to see if it fires? Quote
