claire87x Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Hi, new to the group. I have a 1.5 diesel crossland x elite, (turbo too I think) I've only had the car a few months. Just turned 50k miles. I had just pulled away from home when the dashboard came up with "engine fault stop car" or words to that effect. I turned the car off, started it back and it had gone. A couple minutes later it came on again followed by oil pressure low, so I turned around to go home, car felt slow (hubby says limp mode?!) And pulled up at home. I checked the dipstick and wiped it, there was oil there? I'm currently waiting for the AA, they should be here in 10mins. Hubby has had the engine running since then and also drove it round the block, the fault didn't come up or drive slow for him... I've had all sorts of replies on a Facebook group, could it just be a sensor?! When I press the button on the dashboard (the one that goes through "wheel pressures ok, service in 3mths, top up adblue in 1700miles, it then says NO FAULT" so I'm so confused?! And of course very worried. I've been told and read that wet belt is only on petrol engines so surely it cannot be that? The car was an ex motability car when we bought from a dealer, 1 previous owner and full service history, no mot history problems?! So thought we had bought a cracking car! But now this... Quote
