Zafira b 1.7cdti 2011 parking sensor electrical issues

Hi all ,

I have a 2011 zafira b 1.7 cdti ecoflex.

The parking sensor warning light has come on the dash and now my stereo , heater buttons and rear wiper don't work. I have checked all fuses linked to everything above and they are all fine. Does anyone have any experience with this issue before

I wonder if there is a break in the wires leading from the body to the tailgate

pull back the rubber gaiter and see if there are broken wires in there
